Rob has been a reservoir engineer for 30 years with a wealth of experience from diverse projects in identifying and characterizing CCS risks and resolving operational storage and injection/production issues.  He has a BS (Hons.), MS and PhD in physics from the Universities of Leeds and Oxford and worked as a staff engineer for BP and Total.  Rob has worked for over a decade in the CCS space focusing on dynamic reservoir simulation.  In addition to leading GCS’s reservoir simulation, Rob’s experience in CCS includes  development of a CCS opportunity in SE Asia, to inject multi-million tons of CO2 into a depleted gas reservoir; modeling the performance of an operating CCS project at In Salah in Algeria; and a multi-year CCS opportunity on the NW Shelf of Australia for Inpex with injection into an open saline aquifer.
