Javier has 22 years of experience in subsurface for energy development from frontier exploration to field development in a wide range of sedimentary basins internationally. Javier’s expertise is in seismic interpretation including in deep water reservoirs, fairway analysis, prospect generation and maturation, rock physics, QI including attribute analysis, AVO, and inversions aimed at reservoir characterization, target selection, and well planning.  Javier is the lead geophysicist for GCS.  Javier received a BSc as a Geophysical Engineer from the Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela and a MSc in Geophysics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
